Promoting our Games before release date, and improving user experience.
The vast majority of apps get stuck in the a digital limbo, by not gaining the popularity they need to really make a splash. They stay undiscovered by the audience, lost in the millions of existing apps, and obscured by apps promoted by big companies . We’ve designed a great puzzle game and now we just need to get it discovered
We starting posting #staturdayscreenshot on Facebook , Twitter and Google+. We believe this will provide some engagement on the gamer community.
As part of the campaign we are writing to several review sites to see if we can get some of them to publish a preview of the game. On the other side of the coin we have been working hard and doing some research on the usability of the user interface for EggScrambled. We want to provide the best experience for our players.
Adding a new first level that forces the user to learn how to play the game (without knowing), was in my opinion a great move in the right direction. The first reaction of the majority of persons we asked to try a live demo of the app, was “what do I do here?”. That is why the new first level was created and now the first reaction is “Wow this is cool… when can i download it ?”
